Ali D. a.k.a. Ali Pink, was born in 1979 in #tehran #iran His friends gave him the nickname Ali Pink, because he has been a big fan of Pink Floyd. He grew up listening to his father’s favorite artists such as Demis Roussos and Eloy, and listening to Tangerine Dream, made him feel interested in electronic music.
Ali, belongs to the second generation of the DJs of Tehran.
In 2009, Ali started his professional career as a DJ, with playing #electrohouse and #tribalhouse .
After a while, he changed his style to #deephouse , and released his first 25 min DJ sets, which caught the attention of many fans, as well as the Australian magazine, “Iranian #electronicmusic “, so that one of them was placed on the first page of the magazine. The magazine, also did an interview with Ali, for the first time.
Ali, has released more than 25 DJ sets.
In 2018, he founded “Techno Tehran Records” to support and to introduce the middle eastern artists. Techno Tehran Records, is one of the most credited record labels in the middle east, and has already worked with more than 40 international artists from many parts of the world.
